Bullying Related to Lack of Sleep

A University of Michigan research study has concluded that lack of sleep can contribute to a child’s conduct problem, specifically bullying. Of the 341 children the University of Michigan surveyed, 32 percent or 110 students were evaluated by a parent or teacher as having a “conduct problem,” and 23 percent or 78 children had “symptoms suggestive of sleep-disordered breathing,” according to the study.
